La sociedad tecnológica actual y sus implicaciones en la educación científica

Abstract

La sociedad actual es una sociedad dominada por los nuevos avances tecnológicos, la vida de todos los integrantes se relaciona con estas herramientas a diario. Esto genera cambios en la sociedad. Estos cambios debe afrontarlos por medio de reformas en el sistema educativo. Los cambios en la educación deben ser globales y, por tanto, deben involucrar a las instituciones educativas, al profesorado y al alumnado. Se están realizando algunas reformas pero son insuficientes para que el alumnado esté preparado a la hora de desarrollarse en la sociedad democrática en la que vive. La carente formación que proporciona las instituciones educativas en algunos aspectos, la falta de formación del profesorado en aspectos tecnológicos, la proliferación del acoso escolar por medio de las nuevas tecnologías hace que esta reforma sea necesaria.

The current society is a society dominated by the new technological advances, the life of all the members relates to these tools daily. This generates changes in the society. These changes must confront through reforms in the educational system. The changes in the education must be global and, therefore, they must involve to the educational institutions, to the professorship and to the student body. Some reforms are realized but they are insufficient in order that the student body is prepared at the moment of developing in the democratic society in which they live. The lacking formation that provides the educational institutions in some aspects, the lack of formation of the professorship in technological aspects, the proliferation of the school harassment through the new technologies does that this reform is necessary.
