La protección jurídica internacional de la fauna y flora silvestres

Abstract

La diversidad biológica, también conocida como biodiversidad, necesi ta que se garantice su conservación, debido principalmente al nexo de unión que existe entre dicha conservación y el objetivo de lograr el bien estar de los seres vivos que existen en nuestro ecosistema. El artículo se centra, por tanto, en la protección jurídica de la fauna y flora silvestres que ha impulsado la comunidad internacional como Naciones Unidas con el Convenio de Diversidad Biológica y la Convención sobre el Comercio Internacional de Especies Amenazadas de Fauna y Flora Silvestres.

Biological Diversity, also known as biodiversity, needs to be supported to ensure its conservation, mainly due to the nexus that exits between this mentioned conservation and the goal of obtaining the welfare of the living being that exist in our ecosystem. Therefore, the article focuses on the legal protection of the wild fauna and flora that the international community as the United Nations has promoted trough the Convention on Biological Diversity and the Convention on International Trade in Endangered Species of Wild Fauna and Flora
