La distinción poliana entre antropología y psicología

Abstract

Desde la filosofía de Leonardo Polo es posible esclarecer el objeto y método específico de la psicología, superando así la situación de «ciencia problemática». También puede investigarse su relación con la antropología y con ciencias como la física, la biología o la ética. Para ello Polo retoma nociones de la psicología de Aristóteles y las aportaciones de la cibernética. Una reflexión de estas características permite rectificar y ampliar las posibilidades científicas de la psicología, evitando reduccionismos y sincretismos.

From Leonardo Polo’s philosophy it is possible to clarify the object and specific method of the Psychology, overcoming in this way the situation of the “problematic science”. Also can be investigated his relation by the Anthropology and by some sciences as the Physics, the Biology or the Ethics. For it Polo takes again notions of Aristotle’s psychology and the contributions of the cybernetics. A reflection of these characteristics allows us to rectify and to extend the scientific possibilities of the psychology, avoiding reduccionisms and sincretisms.
